Twice His research on “active shooter response in healthcare settings” has been nationally & internationally recognized, even grabbing interest of the FBI.

Bio:
Jensen began his career as a Professional Circuit Tennis Player. For 15 years Jensen taught as a Professionally Certified Private Tennis Instructor, a Varsity Tennis Coach for a local inner-city high school & operated his own business as a Certified Master Racquet Stringer. In addition, he worked as a Medical Drug Detoxification Technician & Volunteered at OHSU in the Neuroscience Unit (among others); All while completing high school, where Jensen graduated valedictorian, then through the completion of 2 degrees and full-time attendance at Portland State University. After which, Jensen moved to Ohio where he attended 4 years of medical education at the University of Toledo, completing 2 master’s degrees, before returning home to Oregon.

Personal Statement:
“I am fascinated by science because it helps me see Gods glory in action; the mechanisms, precision, and discoveries yet to come only compound the majesty of ‘His` creation. I have always felt the Lords guidance to situate myself in a position to support and educate those in need. I followed His call even when I lacked confidence in myself. Three of God’s gifts to me are my fascination/understanding of science, effective communication/educating passion, and my servant’s heart. A beautiful medley by which I hope to serve the community.”
